KAV also has an interesting history.  At the age of 24 he played an integral part in reforming legendary Manchester band “Happy Mondays”, and was invited to joined the band on guitar, and to tour internationally with the band. KAV was described in the press as “the man who’s helped me Smile Again” by singer Shaun Ryder.  KAV went on to co-write new album Unkle Dysfunktional, the first album in 13 years, with original members Shaun Ryder and Gaz Whelan. Whilst with the band, KAV also co-wrote single Playground Superstar, title track for Hollywood Film GOAL, which was released on Big Brother Records (Noel & Liam Gallagher – OASIS’s Label).

He’s not only been a resident at London Superclub Turnmills – played alongside DJs like the Chemical Brothers. He’s also Dj’ed on tours prior to James Brown going on stage & as well as playing live at some of the biggest concerts & festivals around the world while in the Happy Mondays, KAV has also been asked to DJ the aftershows & DJ tents at festivals such as FujiRock & Good Vibrations. KAV co-launched GETLOADED ‘One of the most successful London club nights to date’ (The Guardian UK 2005). Guests included Peter Hook / Carl Barat (Libertines/ Dirty Pretty Things) / The Smiths / Howard Marks/ Client / The Beta Band/ Mani (Primal Scream/ Stone Roses)/ Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets) / & the legendary Tony Wilson.  ‘GETLOADED IN THE PARK’ is now in its fifth year as a 20,000 capacity sell-out festival, on London ’s Clapham Common.
